Popcorn Machine
Handcrafted in Hebron, Palestine, this ceramic oil decanter brings everyday function into conversation with long-standing craft. Each piece is thrown and hand-painted by artisans working within a ceramic tradition centuries in the making.
Designed for olive oil or vinegar, the rounded body is paired with a natural cork stopper and a curved handle that allows for balance and an easy pour. Wrapped around the vessel is the Arabic word زيت (zayt, meaning oil), framed by cloud-like forms and hand-drawn motifs that echo the rooftops and landscapes of Palestine. The brushwork is expressive and assured, giving the piece a sense of movement and place.
